Rutherglen and Cambuslang Foodbank relies heavily on food donations from the public. These donations help us provide balanced and nutritious three-day food supplies to those in need. In 2022-2023 we were able to help 7,233 people; 5,007 adults and 2,226 children
We keep an up-to-date shopping list on our Donate Food page, listing what we foods we need just now. To support this, we are using the BankTheFood app which will also keep you updated on the items we are running low on. It’s a great app; you only need to download it and select Rutherglen & Cambuslang as your preferred Foodbank to see what we need. You can also activate notifications, which means you’ll get a reminder when you visit the supermarket, so you never forget to donate.
