900 Bags of Kindness

As part of the Rutherglen 900 celebrations, marking the 900 years of the Royal Burgh of Rutherglen, Rutherglen Churches Together have launched the 900 Bags of Kindness appeal. This fantastic initiative aims to collect and donate 900 bags of much-needed staples to local food banks.

As one of the churches taking part, Rutherglen United Reform Church launched the appeal on Sunday 15th February, and have, so far, delivered 200 bags to churches and some youth organisations around Rutherglen, including 50 bags to the Foodbank.
